A highly architectural vintage console table, drawing from the refined language of French Art Deco. Executed in richly figured burl wood, likely maple, the piece is defined by its demi-lune form and exceptional material contrast. The curved top has a brass band and at its center, a recessed plinth houses a stunning sculptural plaster mascaron. Estimated mid to late 20th century. Visible hand-drawn measurements to the underside, indicative of a studio made or custom fabrication process. Very good vintage condition, some very minor surface wear. 49” wide x 32” tall x 24” deep.
